New technologies, changes in consumer behaviour and government regulation are the main factors that have changed the way Romanian companies have created and delivered value over the past five years, and business models will continue to be reinvented under the influence of the same factors. The PwC CEO Survey 2024 report reflects the key perceptions of Romanian CEOs on the main opportunities and challenges.

Perception of CEOs in Romania:

"Romanian companies, like their global counterparts, must continue to reinvent themselves in the face of rapidly evolving technology and regulatory changes in order to be viable and profitable in ten years' time. In fact, our survey shows that more and more CEOs are aware of the need for change and are taking steps in this direction by developing new products and services, adopting new technologies and entering into strategic partnerships to improve capabilities."
